My method

While many manual healing methods target stress impulses in the body (e.g. through stretching or adjusting), I work with stress reduction techniques. In most cases I would not stretch a hardened muscle, for example, but compress it. This enables it to easily relax in a position that is comfortable for it. (But I do not work only with the muscles: I work with the entire body.)

The fundamental principle behind my work is that there is no definition for how a human, or a healing practice, should be. I communicate with the current condition of the person, instead of correcting it from my perspective, and I regard a “symptom” as the best possible, momentary expression of a human's self-regulation. This results in a gentle, respectful work with the person, and not on the person.

During the session I always heed my perception and often abstain from textbook procedures in favour of an perception-based approach, which can reach deep levels of healing. Reaching these deeper levels is a very powerful. The body can restructure itself through contact “just like that” and receives impulses for its own healing.

Ailments can thus be addressed, old stress patterns will “melt away” under my hands, enabling the body to reorganise its regulation at a deep level, which in turn stimulates its power to heal itself and leads to a more beneficial state of health.
