It took me some years to realise that I have a talent for hands-on healing. This is what I now offer for my own and the client's benefit.
I am currently studying manual techniques which have its roots in Osteopathy. At the same time I am developing my own individual form of manual-energetic work. This involves precisely sensing both the physical material of the part of the body I am touching, as well as the energy which is hold there and wishes to be released and start flowing. The expanded space that is then created through this release encourages the client to arrive at deeper layers of the self.
Legally speaking I am an “energetic healer” (spiritual healer) and I can well identify with this title, as “healing” is a good word in my opinion. The fact that it is a word that is often used by people who I would rather not be treated by is another story. Without the corresponding training, Germany presents few possibilities to call oneself anything different if one is newly entering the health care sector from another career entirely. Having a talent for the field and correspondingly learning the techniques is not enough.
It has been said, “There are no incurable illnesses, there are only incurable patients”. A very interesting sentence that interprets illnesses in a new way: that illness can make sense for the growth of the soul and that it can also disappear again when other ways of dealing with the subject are found.
